Re: Spurs New Stadium
That's what the telegraph said.

The daily mail credited the evening standard so have a go at them Croe not the mail.

Absolute bollocks. What legacy? A bit of garden with a centre circle marked out?

Re: Spurs New Stadium
Yeah pretty simple, derived back from what you can get away with development wise, sale price minus development cost minus reasonable profit will get you to a land price.

Re: Spurs New Stadium
Not the Daily Mail....................

I personally think I was important to strike a balance between the price and the legacy.

By the way Newham will not grant permission without the developer increasing significantly its affordable quota.

I'm no expert but I suppose land value is pretty well known for a given area, if they got more than that, then fair play

Re: Spurs New Stadium
In the Daily Mail and Evening Standard at the time the ground was sold back in February 2014.

The Telegraph estimated it to be £20m and said we turned down higher offers to secure a legacy at the site.

Gavros 7:25 Thu Apr 2
Re: Spurs New Stadium
They were never going to get that much for it anyway. That was I think the replacement cost valuation. The land itself was valued at about £14 mil and the rumour was they got about £30 mil.

What reports are these?

Johnson 7:19 Thu Apr 2
Re: Spurs New Stadium
According to reports they didn't even get what it was valued at in the accounts, so less than £70m.

Re: Spurs New Stadium
Because you and I both know they wouldn't have given it to the first company that bid.

G&S&B maybe a lot of things but when it comes to business they are no fools.

Johnson
if that's the case then they aren't as astute economically as I thought for sure...
A little patience might well have secured a better deal for the club/ g,s,&b...
And as for the legacy stuff ...please......

Right so Gallard will make a load of money, we won't as we appear to have sold to the first bidder.

Re: Spurs New Stadium
Good question but galliard look like they are onto a killing all ends up...700 new homes 20 mins from the city even if they are on Green street once the gentrification occurs...
